Description
A charming young lady in a graceful pose wearing a burgundy and pink colour dress of 19 century with little roses. The hand painted frame – Trompe l’oeil, around the main picture is enables you to hang the picture without any other frame. Trompe l’oeilis is an art technique that uses realistic imagery to create the optical illusion. A non-tarnishing Wax Gilt (gold leaf) was applied on a Trompe l’oeil frame. Amazing artwork which will decorate any wall in your home. The picture was painted, covered with a clear varnish and comes signed by me. (The painting comes without any frame. On the back of the canvas is an adhesive hanger and may be displayed without a frame or may easily put into a standard size, ready-made frame)
