Description
I love Aubusson, and I love painting Aubusson Roses. Is very romantic which definitely gives beauty to this lovely box. I have hand painted this Aubusson Roses on a dark brownish red colour background to give an antique – old look, and a bit of hand rubbed finish in some places. Also a bit of a gold and yellow paints on the edges all around the wooden box. Inside is painted black and on the bottom of the box I have added two little rosebuds to make it more adorable. The chest has decorative metal handles on two sides of the box and a big beautiful clasp which enables you to keep your personal accessories or what ever you like. It also will look very elegant with a bit of an antique chic on display. The wooden chest was decorated, painted, covered with a clear matt varnish and comes signed by me.
