Rococo Cupids – Vintage style wooden box

Rococo – 18th century is my favourite style.This wooden box was painted with three sweet little Cupids holding garland of roses, with a pink cloth of fabric and soft clouds around them. On each of the box corner is a little pink rose. Cupid in Latin is Amor – Love. So this amazingly beautiful hand painted wooden box can be lovely gift to any one you love, maybe for a Valentine Day, or just for yourself. It will add a romantic look to your room when you put it on display. The box has a metal clasp, so you can keep in the box e.g. letters, photos, jewellery or personal accessories and more. You even can have this box in your office for keeping your pencils in. The box is fully painted with vintage pink and also on the back. Around these little Cupids was painted in a brown frame that looks like a window – Trompe l’oeil effect and its frames the painting. I have hand rubbed the box to give an antique/vintage style. To make the box more adorable and charming, I have decorated inside the box with a decorative pretty fabric – light pink with roses and dots, and is so matching with the colour of the box. I am sure you will love this beautiful box. The wooden box was decorated, painted, covered with a clear matt varnish and comes signed by me.
