Description
One of my favourite artists is Francois Boucher, a French painter of the Rococo style of 18th century. I love all of his paintings and “Venus consoling love” is one of them. Very rich colours. Rococo is always charming. I have painted this picture on a canvas that has been specially cut for the size of a frame which I have chosen for this painting. The frame is very decorative, hand painted, applied a non-tarnishing Wax Gilt (gold leaf) and covered with a clear gloss varnish. The painting comes with this decorative frame. You can hang the frame or it can simply stand on a table and on the back is a black self-easel stand. The picture was painted, covered with a clear varnish and comes signed by me.
