Description
An elegant, hand painted, decorative tea caddy, antique style with a cracking effect. The caddy has six compartments, the same size. You can store tea bags and even put the box on display, it looks decorative. It also can be a lovely gift for a loved one. The box has a metal clasp. The main background is dark yellow. The sides of the box were hand painted with a decorative and elegant flowers pattern, also was added a gold acrylic paint which gives a glamour to the ornament. On the front side hand written “TEA” with ornamental letters. Underneath is painted black. Inside the box the main color is dark yellow with red edges, and 2 little flowers are painted on inner side of the box lid. On the top of main scene and the front side hand made cracking effect and to highlight the cracks was added a Wax Gilt (gold leaf) – to give a look of an antique appearance. This wooden box was decorated, painted, covered with a clear gloss varnish and comes signed by me. The box comes empty.
