Description
This elegant and very beautiful hand painting I have made on an Olive wooden tray / plate. The scene was painted in Victorian style. Sweet little boy – Cupid, is holding a big basket full of pink and yellow roses. The main background is yellow ochre with deep cadmium red paint around and a golden ochre wide line which beautifully frames the picture. On the top I have painted a charming pink bow and on the edges of the wooden picture hand applied a non-tarnishing Wax Gilt (gold leaf) which finishes the work. You can use it for serving or put this decorative tray on display. It looks romantic, decorative, elegant and charming. The Olive wooden tray / plate was decorated, painted, covered with a clear gloss varnish and comes signed by me. (Comes without a display stand)
