Description
Charmingly beautiful, an Indian style hand painted wooden box for to keep your tea bags with four the same size compartments. Elegant and very decorative , you can store tea bags and put the box on display. It also can be very beautiful gift for a loved one. The box has a metal clasp. On the top of the box I have painted Trompe l’oeil – imitation of a decorative cloth with embroidered edges and in the centre is an Indian elephant covered with a beautiful rug. Cute pink roses on the corners of the box. From two other corners of the imitated cloth I have painted imitation of hang down two decorative tassels, they can be seen on the sides of the box. Its looks like the wooden red box is covered with this decorative cloth. The main colour of this box is dark deep red with a bit of a brown shade. On the front of the box is hand written “TEA” with ornamental letters and gold acrylic paint. Underneath is painted black. Inside the box is painted deep red color and on inner side of the box lid were painted some pink roses to make it look more decorative. This wooden box was decorated, painted, covered with a clear gloss varnish and comes signed by me. The box comes empty.
